The Marconi Building in Chelmsford is Wireless Once More

Wireless has returned once more to the Marconi Building in Chelmsford, famed for being the “home of radio” thanks to Javalin Network Services Ltd.

Benefit Cosmetics required a robust wireless system that was capable of covering 70,000 square feet within this Grade II listed building. Such buildings can throw up challenges for modern technology, as opposed to the pre planning for technology that new builds now take into account. Following an in depth survey and an understanding of the needs of Benefit Cosmetics, Ruckus Wireless was installed to provide a system that gives seamless WiFi connectivity throughout their entire offices over two floors of the building.

Tom Vallance of Javalin Network Services Ltd commented, “It was amazing to install wireless back into the building made famous by Guglielmo Marconi as being the world’s first purpose built radio factory and the home of wireless radio. I have known the Marconi Building for many years being a local Chelmsford resident but to now install the latest wireless technology into the offices of Benefit Cosmetics and in the Marconi Building was a really amazing experience”.

WiFi technology can be an issue for many businesses, commercial spaces and public buildings, WiFi has become an expected part of today’s communication requirements both in the workplace and in public spaces.

Javalin Network Services Ltd of Chelmsford, are now into their 30th year of business and have worked throughout the UK installing WiFi, Audio and Visual equipment, Structured Cabling and hardware into schools, local authority buildings and businesses.
